I am Ashen Amarasekera, Founder and Managing Director of NATARA LANKA TOURS (Pvt) Ltd, a licensed inbound tour operator in Sri Lanka. I am also a Registered Tourist Chauffeur under the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
My education was shaped at a leading Catholic college in Colombo, after which I began my professional journey in the apparel industry, where I gained over twelve years of experience. Although this field strengthened my discipline and work ethic, I eventually recognized that my true passion lay elsewhere.
In 2015, I transitioned into the travel and tourism sector, driven by a deep interest in showcasing the beauty, culture, and heritage of Sri Lanka. Since then, I have had the privilege of serving travelers from around the world, offering personalized hospitality supported by firsthand knowledge and a genuine passion for the industry.
Over the years, the encouragement and trust of my clients played a significant role in shaping my path. One valued client, in particular, advised me to establish my own travel company. Inspired by this trust, and motivated by my dedication to the field, I founded NATARA LANKA TOURS (Pvt) Ltd—named in honour of my beloved daughter, Nátara.
